Pierced my ears today

I got my act together and went to pierce my ears today. Didnt hurt as much as I thought it would, it mostly stung for a second then it was over. Feels different, Im very very aware of my ears, they usualy just tag along for the ride so to speak but now I feel them all the time. Guess that will pass though. Not sure if Im going to keep my piercing, they had to pierce where the holes that I made as a child where before they healed and I dont think it looks good. The piercing isnt as close to the eadge of my ear as I would like to. But on the bright side theres lots and lots of more jewelry to look at and perhaps buy :)
