Things to buy

You can buy almost anything, even things (or people) you shouldnt be able to buy. But what about peacefull sleep? That would really be something I´d like to buy, a pinch of peacefull sleep :)

Today a friend of mine told me that peacefull sleep is something only kindhearted, inocent people are blessed with and then I got that look you really dont want, the meaningfull look with raized eyebrows... Thanks a lot! In that case I´m, coldhearted and eh "un-innocent" how nice does that feel?!?! (yeah yeah yeah I made up the "un-innocent" word, I dont care.. thats the upside of being unkind and coldhearted, not careing)

I like this song, she´s got a great voice. I also like Since You´ve Been Around, same kind of song but different :) "found" Rosie Thomas just awhile ago so I haven really listend to her music yet but shes got a couple of other songs to that seems great.

Long overdue

Cleaning out old stuff that should have been thrown away years ago. Found some to save though, fun stuff from the past like my first oilpainting from when I was about 4 years old, letters from my mother when she spent 2 month in Australia, my college grades, some of my collage exams (I can not believe the stuff I studied taking a course in international economics dont remember much either, lots of weird formulas and math. Must have been nuts when I decide it was a cours for me) my graduation essay on international bipolar politics, that was fun to read after all this time, very academic and serious. The whole cleaning out stuff turned out to be more fun then expected, I tire easily as usual get great idea like moving furniture instead, turning the whole place into chaos. Half way through that I tire again and put everything back as it where... Hey, at least I didnt sit on the couch all evening and I did actually throw away alot of stuff.

Ive got 3 things I want to do but cant and 1 I dont want to do but have to do.

Things I dont want to do:
It´s not really a thing thats "me" but if I dont do this people will be hurt so I´m doing it anyway. Feel like the grown up thing to do and I could use some points on my good side I think.

Things I want to do:
1. I really really want this to happen but its just not possible, it wont happen so I should just leave it be, learn to live with the fact its not happening and get on with my life, Im not doing that very well right now.

2. Is possible and would be alot of laughs but coincide with the thing I dont want to do AND the third thing I want to do

Am I whining and grumbeling again? I am, am I not?!?! Unbelievable! I really need to get my life sorted out. Time to move forward instead of sitting around whining writing in this blog. Sooo, see you when I see you people

How to survive a Monday

A friend of mine taught me (when in college) that you can fool your self into believing its Friday instead of Monday. Its real easy really, you cook food thats typical for Fridays (ie a bit better than usual food NOT NOODLES) like for example sliced unpeeled poatoes marinated in oliveoil, thyme, basil, salt, pepper, garlic and then you cook them in the owen. (its real real good) and what ever kind of meat you like, personaly I prefer some kind of beef and you have to cook it the right way ofcourse (google on that if you dont know how to, its important or you´ll destroy the beef). Some salad and dressing. A big big big glas of wine (maybe two or three ;) but be carful it is Thuesday tomorrow after all...) Lit candles and the most important thing.. good music!. Today it is Duster Bennett and Janis Joplin or rather first Janis Joplin then Duster Bennett. If you havent listen to either of them you really missed out on good music. Well anyhow thats the big secret how to fool yourself its not Monday and trust me it works juuuust fine!

I´m going nuts, its a beautifull day, sunny and my Harley wont start. I cant figure out how the hell you get the damned battery out so that I can recharge it. This cant be happening. Maybe it will help if I cry and stomp my feet... nope, it didnt. CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!

Not. Battery dead. Yikes! my thigh looks huge, I better get a grip and start exercise again (which is just about what the photographer said, well first I thought about kickin his shinbone but I didnt dare to that, the built in airbag he has around his waist might start off...) The biggest problem right now is getting the dumb battery out which seem to be a bit of a puzzle

Scorpions - Always somewhere

One of my brother´s favorite songs. I didnt really listen much to Scorpions growing up befor he "found" them, but being the younger of us I kind of tagged along as usual and started to listen to them too. After seeing them live at SwedenRock Festival some years ago I started to listen a bit more. This is a band you should see live, they can really get a crowd going and give you one great show, besides they have a couple of different songs thats not so much mainstream as this. This clip is more of an acoustic one, I like it but the original version live was awesome. I like the chorus, makes you feel like people that leave never really did leave because they´re always somewhere :)

Janis Joplin´s Porsche

If I ever get to own a Porsche like this I will paint it the same way, it absolutly fabulous and theres no doubt about whos car it is (or was I´m sorry to say), it just screams Janis Joplin! Hmmm wonder what my Harley would look like if I painted it like that....

Problem to solve

I came across this problem when I was 16 and I have never been able to solve it. I´ve asked friends and family throughout the years but no one have come up with a solution.



These are the rules
Draw a rectangel as shown in Fig. 1 then proceed with drawing a line (red in Fig. 2) that shall cross every line in the rectangel once and only once. As shown in Fig. 2 I always get one line in the rectangel left (see the green X) in order to not get one line left I have to cross a line in the rectangel twice and thats not allowed.

This is a song I grew up listening to and it´s my absolute favorite among Janis Joplin´s songs but it´s also the song that I think is the best ever made, I absolutely love it nothing can compare with this. What a voice!

Its been a real monday

First day after 1 week vacation, monday morning and I´ve felt every second of it. Today I think I´ve manage to make things more difficult instead of solving them, its been uphill the whole day. The most easily task at work has been horribly difficult. Sad thing is it´s not over yet, it´s going to be Monday all day long until 24.00. And to top this day of it´s my responsibility to care for my familys grave this week, I really really have a problem with cemetaries. Well no time like the present, cant prolong this forever.. besides staying here trying to enjoy my ChaiLatte has become a lost cause, theres a couple at the table behind me arguing angrily (or rather he´s quite she is arguing, saying every mean thing there is in a tone that would make most people run for their life) This is where I would like to tell her to shut up or say what she has to say in a civiliced way or take it elsewhere so that people (thats me) can relax besides if she did that then maybe he would actually hear what she as to say and get a chanse to answere but I dont think that would calm her one bit :)
