Aaargh! Snow!

No snow all winter and now when spring should be coming on this is the view from my window. Its horribly wrong. I want sun, warmth and change. Everything just stops on hold when its like this. horribel! Im going to wear my springjacket and non winter shoes when going out. In protest of the weather. Freezing dont bother me at all...

Marianne Greenwood 1916-2006

I stumbled accross a documentary about Marianne Greenwood a swedish photographer and writer. Until seeing that documentary she was to me unknown. In the middle of the end of world war two she left sweden for a 40 year long period of travleing in her life. 25 of which she didnt even have a adress. During her travels she´s met alot of people, some famous (she wored a period of time with documenting ,by photo, Pablo Picasso and his family). Most of her life she´s been traveling by her self meeting people along the road. I´m impressed not only by her photos but also of her and her way of approaching life and when it comes to approaching life I guess a bit envious. I could use a bit of her way of life in mine.

Old stuff

Going trough some of my fathers stuff I found a bag with his personaleffects he had on him when he died. This watch was still working, seconds ticking on. That watch was packed away 1979, its weird it still going on. It doesnt look like an super advanced watch that could be 'the watch that never stops'. Just an ordinary watch. It kind of bother me that its working. Also found a old picture of my dads father driving a mc. Thats fun, guess riding bikes is in my genes.

Change

The weather is changing its getting less and less dark, slowly its turning into spring. Im ready for that change and more. Ive decided I need more change in my life than the change of weather. Sometimes its just time to move on even though thats not what you really want to do its just what you have to do in order to live.
