Yesterday we were visiting my mothers cousin that collects old cars and mc. This is the youngest a thriumph from -67. Ive been promised a drive with his Matchless from the 1930 when he has fixed it, looking forward to that it was kind of cool. He buys the cars and mc and then fixes them, a hobby that takes up spaces he had alot of garages

Meeting Tage and his family

There´s just no way I´m visiting Sundsvall without meeting Tage so when he wasnt home we drove a couple of Swedish miles to his sons newely bought house that they are renovating. Since I havent met Tages son befor I just thought this was great, really wanted to meet him too. Tage is my favorit among my mothers uncles. I think he´s the kindest man I´ve ever met in my life and he´s so sympatetic and charming. We havent spent much time together, almost none at all but when I meet him it´s like I´ve known him all my life. He´s 74 years old but that you would never guess, he seems alot younger. I could spend hours and hours just talking and being around him, and boy what stories he has to tell, hes done so much, today he told me about the time when he was puting up tile in the subway in Stockholm when it was built, had no idea he done that. And meeting his son (one of my mothers millions cousins...) was so fun. He was easy to talk to and seemed as interested as I to get to know eachother. The house he and his girlfriend bought is old and comes with a piece of land (dont remeber how much but not to much but not to small either) I took this picture down by the sea (the house is on an island). It´s real calm and quiet here, real peaceful a place I easiely could spend time at. I got an invitation for the summer and when I told him that I plan to arrive on a Harley he suggested I come for midsummer since his and his girlfriends friends would be there celebrating and some of them ride Harley. Thats what I like about my relatives here it´s open hearts and doors and a genuine interest in just being together talking having fun. I like that.

Lilro - where my grandmother grew up

I havent been in Sundsvall in 7 years so today we have visited some relatives and places we wanted to see. This is the house my grandmother grew up in, I havnt been in this house since I was 12. One of my mothers uncles, Tage, and his wife owns it and he´s currently renovating. It´s fun to be back, you see things differently when your older and not 12 anymore :) My grandmother had well not alot but many sibblings but they are getting older and some of them have died so I kind of feel that my source of family history is slipping away. Seeing this house again and talking to my mothers uncles felt important and I got to know some history I didnt know befor, and hear stories from the past that really made me laugh. It´s always been alot of humor and no worries here in Sundsvall and that hasnt changed. I havent spent much time here at all almost none, still being here feels like I´ve come home. It´s a really really weird feeling

Timrå - Brynäs in Timrås homearena. Its really really smal and we´re sitting in the front row, if it had´nt been for the plexiglas we would have been able to just reach out and touch the players as they skate by thats how close we´re sitting. It´s quit different seeing hockey this up close and frightening to, you instictivly duck when they shoot pucks at you even though you know that theres a plexiglas protecting you. Boring game... partly because I dont cheer for neighter team and partly because they didnt play well this game. Me and Daniel where looking up at the scoorboard thats shows the scoore from other games such as Frölunda - Modo and we´re happy that Frölunda won their game today.

Went xmas shoping in Varberg as usual the last shopingday befor xmas and ended up in a secondhand shop I didnt even know existed. There I found these treasures costing me almost nothing, merry xmas to myself!

X-mas song

This is hillarious! I´m not at huge fan of x-mas songs so this really really made me laugh. The song is often credited to Monty Python but after doing some research I found this and noticed it´s an aussie comedian namned Kevin Bloody Wilson that made the song, and he deserves all the credits he can get for this one!

Me and my grandfather

Spending time with my family talking about my grandfathers youth, traveling, motorcycles and my night out. My grandfather is the best ever. He has a huge heart, lots of love and compassion and an open mind. He doesnt hesitate to tell you the truth even if its not what you want to hear but need to hear.

On my way home and everything is calm and quiet (except the soft music Im listening to while walking), kind of nice and a nice ending on a fun night.

Ran into Lina and Vickan at the pub they works at and now its a advanced kind of afterwork at 0420 fun but Im a little bit drunk and should have gone home when my other friends left the pub hours ago. At least I have the good sense not to drink any more, the others are drinking Baileys mixed with milk. yuk yuk yuk yuk!

One of my best friends are getting married and Im totaly phsyced! Ingela is one of my closest friends and I know marrige means alot to her, her being religious so when she told me about the marrige we both got a bit teary eyed. Interior design on a early Friday evening

Got together with friends (and a ChaiLatte of course) and they had this book on interior design. Its really good. Interior design is a subjct that I can spend quit some time talking about, looking at. There´s so much nice cool furnitur and other stuff thats just waiting for me to buy them. Unfortunatly the interior design doesnt come for free... not the one I want anyway... sooo I bought me some lotterytickets, cross your fingers :)

Gävle bocken (gigant christmas he-goat)

In Gävle (a swedish town) its tradition of the town every year to build a gigan christmas he-goat made out of straw. This has created a illegal tradition to try to burn down the goat. Its a war... This year they are confident that it will not be burnt down... Im not sure, they said the same thing last year... I think that you can even bet money on betting saits if and when it will burn...

This evening I was at the graveyard lighting candels on familymembers graves, it was almost pitchblack because where I was walking the lights were broken, the only light I had was the light from the candles that people had lit on their lovedones graves so it was quite dark. I was walking along listening to music as usual think that I was the only one there when suddenly a elderly couple starts moving just beside me, they had been kneeling by a grave to light at candle and since it was dark I didnt see them util they stood up, which was about 50cm from me... I must have jumped several meters up in the air, havent had a fright like that since I was 6 and my brother scared me half to death when I got lost in the "House of Doom" at a carnival. The elderly couple got a good laugh so I guess I must have looked funny, I think I will check this one of as todays good deed even though I didnt do anything... I think I could use a good deed it gives you points on your good side I´ve heard :)

Iron Maiden - Live Gothenburg 2006

This was one of the best conserts I´ve been to in my life! The sound isnt the best though, the soundguy must have had a bad day becaus on occasions the song disapears for a second but it doesnt matter, these guy´s really know how to get a crowd going. They´re having fun at stage and it´s contageous so the whole stadium was vibrateing after a while.

This is Hardrock at it´s best! I´ll remeber this forever, I finally got to see Fear of the Dark live!! Everyone and I meen everyone in Scandinavium was singing along just like the live version on Edward the Great, it was GREAT! (If I die, I die happy after this ;) )

Iron Maiden will be back 2008 in the summer so its Ullevi, which Iron Maiden likes much and, this is the best, they will put together at tour with hits from the 80´s.. Wheres the que?!!? ;)

So much to say about this consert but I just cant describe it. Have some videoclips (bad bad bad quality) that I´ll blogg tomorrow, and YES I know the quality of the photo is really bad to but it´s taken with my cellphone not a camera so not much I can do about that

Uriah Heep - Rain

One of the best songs they preformed ever (I know, I know its a ballad and not mainstream for Uriah Heep but as I wrote it´s ONE of the best songs... Lady in black is another one...) Saw them in Lisebergshallen - Gothenburg. I hadnt seen them live before and only listen to them to some extent but they were great and I couldnt belive my eyes... never ever seen a bassplayer act like that on stage, he was totally in to the gig and rocked the ass of every bass player I´ve ever heard of or seen, couldnt find a video on that though...

Not on my good side

Phuuu... I dont like Microsoft or Dell anymore! All I want to do is move a couple of files from a LapTop (Dell) to my computer... I´ve tried everything from saving them on a cd to setting up a network.. but the Dell is a devilspawn and doesnt accept anything like cd or dvd. I tried to set up a Network between my computer and the LapTop but Microsoft obviously dont like their users to this easily.... This is something that should be easy but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Maybe I should go back to using a abacus instead...

Got what I need to convert good music from LP vinyl to wave. This is a great way to spend a sunday afternoon, I love it. Me and Duster Bennett, Hound Dog Taylor and Fleetwood Mac (the later is from when they still had their bluessound) and for those of you that never heard of these guys... YOU MISSED SOME GREAT MUSIC!! :) If you plan to listen to Fleetwood Mac keep in mind that theres a huge differens between their albums, their early work is more blues

Ok if friends of yours call you at 02.00 and tells you that you theres going to be a Party at your place you have 2 choises... Get the hell out of bed, get the music in gear, put some clothes on and bring out the booz open your door and its rock n roll oooor pretend you dont have friends who know that you really need them and a good rocking time cause you feel like hell... I of course puts zz top on and let the friends in :-D rock n roll all night and headache tomorrow but thats tomorrow.... Love my friends, they really really know when I need cheering up. skål'!
