Free Jimmy - Norways first computer animated movie

This movie you´ve just have to watch. It´s the most brutal animated movie I´ve ever seen.

The movie is dark, violent, funny, mostly darkhumor and sometimes very very sad. It has everything in it. "Sami maffia" on custombikes, junkies, crazy hunters, animalrights activists, explotions, sexscen, death, friendship, some pretty cool animations and much much more... at times I even lost the feeling of "I´m watching an animated movie" since the story is more like a non-animated movie then an animated.

I havnt cried watching a animated movie since I was a kid but my heart really goes out for Jimmy. Forget Nellie the elephant (which by the way they´ve choose to play as backgroundmusic in one scen in the movie.. bonuspoints for that!) Jimmy is my number one elephant.

S.P.O.C.K - Star Pilot on Channel K

Pure nostalgia for me, just like Toy Dolls. Very very different from Toy Dolls reagarding musical genre. S.P.O.C.K is a Swedish synthpop/electronic group. Not what I usually listens to.

Never the less I listened to this during my college studies. A couple of my "Toy Dolls" friends introduced S.P.O.C.K and I thought it was kind of fun. All songs are about space and alot of them about StarTrek (surprize surprize). And at the back of the cover it says "Support your local ufo organisation" I can garantee that thats the only record I´ve ever seen with that printed on the cover.

Havent listened to this in years. A friend of mine just droped the record of, I´d even forgotten I had a record havent seen it in 8 years (thats what you get for lending people your records ;) )

The music still makes me kind of happy, partly because I get a bit nostalgic but also cause its not gloomy music. Its so hmmmm... how to describe it? You just have to listen for yourself (couldnt find the best song this will have to do)

New house

My best friend and family has moved to their new home. Its not quite finished yet but its really really nice. I love it.

Doddo is back from London

She and Torkel arrived home safe and sound. They´ve been sightseeing all over London, went to see the Phantom Of the Opera and the musical Queen (which both was really really great from what I could tell, Doddo and Torkel both talked at the same time beeing very excited and eager to tell me about it)

They also took the time to meet with a penpal of Doddos, she´s been writing her since she was 10 years old and they´ve never met until this weekend. I thought that was kind of cool.

You can not go to London and not come home with records, thats the unspoken rule. So of course they had been shoping music and guess what some where for me and it was good music to.

A empty house

A great record collection (lots and lots of original 60's, 70's and 80's vinyl) good cup of tea, greate recordplayer, speaker and amplifier. I really dont mind looking after my mothers cats when she's away...

Not what I signed up for

So I promised to look after the cats during my mothers trip to London but this THING (urk!) was not part of the deal. It was running around in the kitchen sink with the intent to jump up and strangle me.

The day after yesterday

Ooooh... In case you were wondering Party, Harrys lead to a splitting headache and me feeling kind of hungover. I´m to old for this or maybe just out of shape :)

News bulitine

I´ve just got a phonecall... Ive been offered the job (only weekends mind you..) as a beer consultant... NO! its not a joke. If everything fall into place I´ll be working extra at weekendes as a speaker at happenings regarding beer... talk about a chance! So far my only fear is... I DONT KNOW SHIT ABOUT BEER... well expet drinking it ;)... I´ll wing it! I´m not passing this opportunity over. I´m aiming to be a beer consultant :)... Hey! It cant be worse than the job I got now can it... :D Issan.. the beer consultant.. hihihi I already have a vision of what my card would look like :D... referens enormous of years drinking beer... hehehe....'

OK ok ok so!! Whiskey in the Jar is an old folksong who cares theres only one and only one band that can do the song like it should be done. This is one song/version of a song that tops my all time hight list of songs. Grow up listening to this among alot of other goups/artists. It´s close to my heart for various of reasons, main reason of course being love.. what else?!?!? My first love/crush listen to this among alot of other artists like black sabbath, yngve malmsten and so on, I was 5 and a half... been listening since then

Thin Lizzy going to play at SwedenRock this year, I´ve decided not to go but after hearing the news that Thin Lizzy is going to be there among some other artists I would like to see/hear I´m almost rethinking the decition not to go even though Phil Lynott of course isnt going to be there... and I´m going alone since no one of my friends want to go!!!! but hey! I got hair on my chest (figure of speach.. I really dont have hair on my chest ;) ) I can go by myself... if I need to explane why Phil Lynott isnt goint to be there.. shame on you, you should know why if you know your rock history :)

well well thats for me to decide tomorrow if there is a tomorrow.. for now I´m of to a party and then Harrys in Falkenberg... ooooooh goodie Harrys.... in Falkenberg the odds of meeting someone I´ve not already met is.. well not big... ;)

Has been to the vet and it was a fight from the get go. Needless to say he won every round with his 'Im sitting here not cooperating minding my own business dont you dare touch me let me out of here or else' attitude alterning with his 'look at my sad eyes, its time to feel bad for doing this to me' attitude. It worked fine for him Im feeling bad... Ive been psyched by a cat! Unbelievable...

Yesterday

Spending time with my mothers best friends kids. Very educational for me, they are 14 and 12 years old and enlightened me of the fact that Im old. Before yesterday it had been almost 20 years since I rode a bike with 3 people on, I asked if Sebastian really was in need of wearing a cap since it wasnt cold outside. Things like that lead to the statement 'Issan youre Ooold!!! And I mean really really old, get a grip..'

It was a real fun evening, theyre great kids that I´ve known since they where born. Lots of jokes and laughs and I got to ride 3 on a bike again... Well of course I did, they called me OLD! What did you expect, never said Im much of a political correct rolemodel

My mother in a nutshell

She got these russian baboschka (dont know how to spell that) dolls as a gift from a friend. As a huge beatles fan shes more than happy and with eyes sparkeling with joy she tells me that another of her friends are going to buy another for her, wish I could have filmed her shes as happy as a kid on christmasday.
